Excursion schedule

Expert-guided natural science excursions are carried out by Park's employees. In the course of the excursion, participants become acquainted with the extremely diverse natural heritage of the Park and the cultural heritage system in the villages. There are also two museum collections on display. When explaining different things, we rely on work sheets provided to each participant.

1. Guided tour of the Škocjan Education Trail for school groups
     (90 minutes, 2 kilometres, sport footwear)

We have organized guided tours along the trail for groups. The tour has been specially tailored to school groups, with pupils receiving work sheets by means of which they become acquainted with the Park. The tour lasts around 90 minutes.

2. Tours of Škocjan Education Trail for individual guests
    (50 minutes, 2 kilometres, sport footwear)

Individual guests can walk along this specially designed footpath at any time. The trail takes you around the natural monuments Velika and Mala dolina and you can learn about numerous interesting features and characteristics of this unique area from the explanatory signs along the way. About two kilometres long, the trail takes around fifty minutes to walk and visit all the museum collections. Museum collections are open only during the high season (June to September) and visitors have to pay an admission fee (one ticket for all three collections).

Program ekskurzij

Dejavnost je v prvi vrsti namenjena učencem, dijakom in študentom. Naravoslovna ekskurzija je podobna terenskemu delu z nalogami (delovni listi) in spoznavanjem naravnih pojavov in kulturne dediščine v parku. Večinoma nas šole obiščejo v okviru naravoslovnih dni, geografskih ekskurzij, biologije (terenske vaje, varstvo narave, ogrožene vrste, okoljska vzgoja).

1. Vodena ekskurzija po učni poti Škocjan za šolske skupine
    (90 min, 2 km, športna obutev)

Za skupine imamo pripravljen voden ogled po poti. Ogled je posebej prilagojen za šolske skupine, kjer šolarji dobijo tudi delovne liste, s pomočjo katerih spoznavamo park. Ogled traja okoli 90 min. Potrebno se je predhodno najaviti in rezervirati termin.

2. Ogled učne poti Škocjan za individualne goste
    (50 min, 2 km, športna obutev)

Individualni gostje se lahko kadarkoli sprehodite po prav v ta namen postavljeni pešpoti okoli naravnih spomenikov Velike in Male doline, kjer so na pojasnjevalnih tablah predstavljene številne zanimivosti in značilnosti tega enkratnega območja. Pot je dolga 2 km, čas potreben za obhod in ogled vseh muzejskih zbirk je okoli 50 min. Muzejske zbirke so odprte le v času sezone (jun.-sept.) in za ogled je potrebna vstopnina (ena vstopnica za vse tri zbirke).
